About

I am a graduate student at Rowan Univeristy in Glassboro, New Jersey, working on a Master of Arts in Writing. For my master’s project, I am working on a young adult novel. It is a coming of age story about a Korean American adoptee trying to find her identity as well as her Korean roots.

I graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and a minor in Chinese in May 2018. After graduation, I worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher for Cambridge Network at Holy Spirit High School in Absecon. I have a passion for teaching as well as writing, and I hope to pursue a career as a Writing Arts professor after I graduate from the master’s program.

My dream is to become a professionally published poet and author and work as a writer for a television sitcom or movie. When I am not editing videos, taking photos or writing stories, I am usually working out at the gym, meditating, practicing martial arts, reading or listening to music.
